ADVISORY:

In response to the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), to ensure the safety of staff and visitors to the Manassas Transfer Station, Waste Management has asked that all Business/Contractors provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, high visibility vest, face mask, and gloves when using the facility. 

HHW and Electronics Drop-off Days Suspended

Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics drop-off events (including shredding) are suspended until further notice. We thank you for your patience and appreciation of the current situation affecting large gatherings. The City will keep you informed of when the drop-offs will resume.

The City of Manassas offers residents an opportunity to take their household hazardous waste, electronic waste and shredding at the Manassas Transfer Station  on Household Hazardous Waste and eWaste Disposal Days. 

This service is free and only available on selected days. The Transfer Station does not accept Household Hazardous Waste and eWaste outside specified disposal days.

The City of Manassas does not accept:
ammunition, explosives, medical waste, commercial or industrial waste.
